TEAM MIA -NICK'S WISH
Story
Today I ran 42.2 km in the Melbourne Marathon......yep, I did it :))
I completed the course in 4 hrs 52 which is what I was hoping for...a sub 5.
Today Team Mia reached the target we were aiming for.......and some!!! AWESOME!!
I am so very touched and appreciative of those who have donated, and those who may still donate. This is such a fantastic cause and one that I will continue to support in whatever way I can.
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou
Amanda & Team Mia
On behalf of "Team Mia" I am raising money for Nick's Wish. I hope you can make a contribution so that more children in the Royal Children's Hospital, Children's Cancer Centre can receive care packages for themselves and their families.
Every cent makes a difference, I would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make! Thank you
Activity
The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation
The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne is one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals, and has been caring for our most vulnerable children and their families for 150 years.
The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation is responsible for raising and distributing funds to support the work of the hospital. All donated funds are used to bridge the gap between government funding and the world-class standard of healthcare the hospital provides.
Generous community support helps to sustain the hospital’s role as international leader tackling some of the world's biggest paediatric health issues. Donated funds drive the hospital’s growth, are utilised only for purposes of excellence, and support the most innovative, life-changing programs and initiatives – that would otherwise not exist – in line with the hospital’s priorities across the areas of research, leadership & training, technology & equipment, and patient and family centered care.
